La poussi\u00e8re n\u2019est pas seulement constitu\u00e9e de peaux et de cheveux morts; elle contient souvent des r\u00e9sidus chimiques et des m\u00e9taux comme le plomb et le mercure. Voici comment vous pouvez vous prot\u00e9ger contre les substances toxiques contenues dans la poussi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enlevez vos chaussures \u00e0 la porte.<\/li>\n<li>Passez l\u2019aspirateur (avec un filtre HEPA si vous le pouvez) et une vadrouille humide chaque semaine.<\/li>\n<li>D\u00e9sencombrez ou d\u00e9placez les d\u00e9corations, livres et autres objets qui accumulent la poussi\u00e8re dans des armoires vitr\u00e9es ou des bacs ferm\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9poussetez r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un chiffon humide (pas besoin de lingettes ou de vaporisateurs!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Y a-t-il de la moisissure dans votre maison?<\/strong> Si vous pouvez la voir ou la sentir, ne l\u2019ignorez pas. L\u2019exposition aux moisissures peut provoquer des sympt\u00f4mes d\u2019asthme, des allergies et d\u2019autres probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9. Certaines personnes sont tr\u00e8s sensibles \u00e0 la moisissure. Voici ce que vous pouvez faire pour lutter contre les moisissures.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pr\u00e9venez la croissance de la moisissure en contr\u00f4lant l\u2019humidit\u00e9. Utilisez un ventilateur de salle de bains, un d\u00e9shumidificateur ou r\u00e9parez les fuites pour \u00e9viter une humidit\u00e9 excessive.<\/li>\n<li>Les petites surfaces (moins de 1\u00a0m\u00e8tre carr\u00e9) peuvent \u00eatre nettoy\u00e9es par vous-m\u00eame \u00e0 l\u2019aide de d\u00e9tergent \u00e0 vaisselle ou de vinaigre.<\/li>\n<li>Les grandes surfaces de moisissures, ou les moisissures qui reviennent sans cesse apr\u00e8s que vous les ayez nettoy\u00e9es, peuvent n\u00e9cessiter l\u2019intervention d\u2019un professionnel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Les produits de nettoyage commerciaux<\/strong> peuvent ajouter une pollution toxique \u00e0 l\u2019air int\u00e9rieur.
